I'm also a girls chaser just like you, and after many trips around the world ( visited 40 countries !) OK, I have lots of experience of filipino nighclubs, having being part of the scene in M.H. Del Pilar St., Manila, in the heydays in the 80's, and having visited many other joints in Angeles City, Baguio, Cebu, Zamboanga, etc.
But I found the stag Club a nice place because of the beauty of the nude dancers (I can send you a digital picture of one of them if you like) and their gentleness during conversation, also because there were few customers so I had practically all the ladies at my table !).

Yes, the place is now a bit expensive: it's about Pesos420 for a first ladies' drink, if I remember well, but the next drink is cheaper at about 120 Pesos. The problem is when you want to take out one of the dancers: the bar fine is now as you say at 3500 Pesos. But I did not hesitate: the boss came to my table, I paid that amount, and I took the girl of my choice (very beautiful indeed) to my hotel, where I even photographed her in the nude ( a hobby of mine, certainly not a trade).

Filipinas are generally excellent models, 'born models' should I say, and are willing to pose naked in various positions (I am not doing anything porno, just artistic erotic pictures, as I call them). But you have to give them 8 x 10" prints for free, in addition of any sexual service. They like to have their own photographs taken, and are not too shy (except for a few of them) at removing their clothes if they see you are serious about photography.

Yes, you are right: it takes time in Davao to learn the city, and find the best whorist places, because few foreigners go there, it's an all filipino night scene and so it's not too well organised, which is the better for me, since I hate sexual commercialism like in Pattaya for example. It's also correct that there are no gogo dancers in Davao,nor in General Santos where I was also (in that city look for the 'Superstar club', it's the best, also with semi-nude or nude dancers).

Another thing: a taxi driver told me about 'students' going for sex occasionally, it's usually a group of girls living in the same apartment, and having sex to pay for their studies or their fashionable clothes, etc. However I didn't have the time to check this out, it might prove time consuming if you don't find the girls attractive enough for example.

For me, yes paying 3500 Pesos to take a girl out is a bit crazy, but at least you know what you pay for. If you choose a girl in the street, it's not always a good deal in term of a beautiful body (I'm an esthete !), and often these girls have an STD of some sort since none or almost none asks their customer to use a condom. Girls in expensive clubs are more controlled, having usually one medical check every week.

For Manila if you are passing by, there is the excellent 'L.A. Cafe' in M.H. Del Pilar Street, corner Roberto Salas St., where many girls are going to look for a foreign customer (this place is practically only frequented by expats like myself). And some are indeed quite pretty. But for me the best is in the provinces, for those who have enough time at hand. Manila girls have too much experience for my taste, but I reckon they do speak good english most of the time, which is not always true with the provincial girls. And learning tagalog is very useful but also time consuming.

I have many more stories in reserve, but frankly I prefer to keep them for myself, because I'm thinking about writing a book about Filipinas, a very special kind of women indeed.

Drove around from about 9pm onwards looking in a number of places in Davao for street Ladies. I don't use Ladies of the Night as in some cities my experience is that they come out during the day as well - number of cities in UK for example. However I couldn't see anyone of interest. A couple of girls hailed me but I guess that is my fault for being in a white Toyota - They probably thought I was a taxi.

At about 10pm a lady and a number (about six) of girls appeared standing by the side of the Apo View Hotel and I guess these were the girls referred to in Thomas' report. Driving around there appeared to be four groups by about 11pm. These were all on or near corners and another small group appeared later at what I think was an open door about 100 yards up ……………

I chose to stop and talk to the Mama-San at the Apo View. I stopped and she had two girls left. Luckily enough, the one girl I was interested was still there. As I have said before I like skinny girls (petite) who are short, small boobs and lithe - preferable pretty. If you are visiting for the first time it is somewhat confusing which door to go into as there are clubs on the same site. Car Park available. The security guard is always very helpful.

The receptionist takes money for the room and massage - 400peso or 600p (Extended time) for two girl. I opted for two girl. Given key to a room which wasn't ready so I was showed into another room. This one had a very large double bed, spa bath and separate toilet all very clean.

The receptionist pointed to a window after I paid my fee and you look through, there are the girls on offer. There was less than last time and their voluminous uniforms makes it difficult to see who you are choosing. You have to go by their faces. NOTE FOR OWNERS - ditch that type of uniform (Try rubber cat suits!!!!!!!!)

I chose my two girls and as I though one was exactly what I was looking for and the other slightly rounder but then I like them skinny. All the girls on offer were stunning.

Part of my reason for the visit to Davao was to assess same for expatriate living but your remarks on same have given me pause. An American expat there has prepared and sells a book [a glorified brochure really titled "Live like a King"] which I bought and read and it's plausible. Called on him - huge guy - 150kg at least vs my 53, courteous enough but his lunch invite was insincere.


The Davao scene - an announcement on 21st Oct. 2003 on board the Cebu-Pacific aircraft en route to the effect that a special offer of P1100/nite (only AU$29) was offering at the Apo View [usually P.2850] was most welcome; not often Oljoe can enjoy four star living. They sure are desperate for gringos - International Airport blown up by fanatics scared them off - in several circuits of downtown & San Pedro Ave I saw not one other white face! At first I thought the L.O.N.'s were gone from the precincts of the Apo View but I looked too early - around 11pm a mama-san and acolytes appeared but our relationship was soured by her [allegedly unknowing - girl had coat tightly wrapped] supply of a 7 month's pregnant lady of about 19. As a first time I essayed a quick poke but her Attitude of 1 on my 1 -10 scale led to an unfulfilled departure and mama-san refused any refunds or concessions, so after unsatisfactory use of hotel staff and pimps, thereafter I relied on freelancers as you wisely suggest. While I think of it there is a lurk one can use - the Apo View and other fancy joints have their own cars which meet most flights - just present yourself at the car and imply you're booked in' -en you arrive ask for price/special offers - if OK take it, if not satisfactory continue to seek what you want, there'll be no recriminations. I did it, others reported similar success. There's a bunch of nice reasonably-priced western restaurants about two streets south of the Apo View when you tire of chicken & rice - an Italian; Dutch; and French. Tried them all.

Davao lacks the frenetic traffic and lifestyle of Cebu and the high prices of Manila. But why pay crazy prices as at 'Plaza Roman' (visited same -P.3000 ST, you're jokin' - how do they stay in business?) and bar fines when attractive freelancers starting at P500 are readily found at night away from the 'downtown' areas. I dunno how long the Apo View discount will last [operated by owners of Cebu Pacific Airline] - maybe you just gotta ask, they're begging for turistas, there's some nationwide nonsense called '"WoWPhilippines" asking locals to encourage furriners, and the Apo View, 4 stars and all (Mme President Arroyo visited it during my stay!) doesn't regulate 'visitors' - you can even enter via near the ballroom and avoid the lobby. as I did with my retinue of four. Not much to doo but scroo, the hinterland doesn't offers little more than Paradise Island, a $3.50 taxi + ferry ride is a nice cheap resort with excellent meals on the beach, a cool park and a few bored birds in cages. If you're energetic you could visit and climb Mt. Apo - tallest peak in the Republik ng Pilipinas and the legendary Phil. eagle said to be the world's biggest flies about there. I wandered about Rizal and Magsaysay Parks in the daytime - strictly family stuff then, and they're a bit dark and dodgy by night. One observation - filipinas are very strong on eye contact - almost every one will bore into your retinas as they pass. I maybe missed some opportunities coz I have a lifelong aversion to eye contact.

1. While in Davao here is another place to look for Lon's. These are not your typical Lon's found elsewhere in the Philippines. These are more shy, young and very beautiful, nonetheless they are street hookers. Take a taxi to J.S. Citimall on Ilustre Street (now known as Gaisano South Mall) after 9pm on any giving night and they will come over to you and talk to you about taken them back to your room for the night. 3.General info on the Girls of Davao: Keep the following in mind when dealing with freelancers in Davao.
All these girls only charge P500 for three hours of sex. Think about that! That is less than $10.00 USD for 3 hours of pure sex! Hey, that's the reason why you came to the Philippines - the DISNEYLAND FOR THE MATURE MEN. For the allnighter you will pay about P1000. A note of Warning for all of you out there: You may be tempted to take one back to your hotel room for the night. It is better to just take them to a local Taxi motel, like Cabagio or The Annex for less than P200 than to take them to your place. These motels are cheap, and they have running water, a bed, tv and A/C. What more do you need?

Do you really want these girls to know where you are staying? If you are leaving the next day - fine. No Problem. But if you are planning to stay for a while, tell them a fake name and NEVER let your wallet out of sight and NEVER TRUST A PROSTITUTE. They are there to do a job. Do the job and forget them.
