Cebu. Rainy season, a bit depressing but still quite some good old and new night spots I discovered so far and would like to share with you:
Today, Thursday night is still amateur dancing performance at Sunflower. Around midnight. Lot of hunters around. But also good offer.
If you are looking for the not so professionals, some tips: Vudu in Crossroads can get pretty busy from 9 p.m. onwards. Especially at the weekends. At Cafe Adriatico in Crossroads you can also find some 'lonely' women occassionally.
The Cafe Havanna (opposite Ayala) and its neighbouring bar is pretty lively at times. Especially if the live music in Cafe Havanna is on on weekends. Met some really nice girls there. And it was even free of cost. Proved to be more expensive at the end. But that is how it always is. Cheapest way of having sex is paying straight front upward for every encounter. If you don't have much time and patience.
There is a new club at the Convention Center, Arch Bishop Reyes, towards Banilad, before you reach Waterfront Hotel to the left. Seems to be an upperclass club for the local crowd. Has potential in my opinion.
On the more professional scene: In Mango area places are still the same. I personally prefer the Viking. If you are friendly to the waitresses and talk to them it pays off at times. They are nicer and more open than the mama san. Was asking for some fresh girls recently. Got one who started at that time two days ago first time in a bar. Village type, a bit choppy but very fresh. Just wanted to give you an update, as some of your information is out of date. I am now in Cebu.

The Garwood Park Hotel is being renovated, and now closed to customers. It will re-open this October.

Cebu Midtown . If you fly Cebu Pacific Airlines and have your ticket stub, cost to stay here is 1400 or 1700. Rooms are hit and miss. If you do not have the ticket stub, costs are $45 and more a night (which is crazy IMO). I believe they have discounts if you stay over two weeks.

Went to a few bars that was mentioned in lapu lapu mactan but nothing great except for princess club  just near the bridge to cebu from airport!!  on main road , average from outside but really good inside. Equal to jaguar !  very nice girls but be careful as some only sixteen. Nice lounges too  and long dance floor good lighting, no pressure, comfortable, very clean, music not too loud. Hgood night out to drink and maybe if you see the one your looking for great but still good to just drink and have fun without hassel

Here is my experience from Cebu city Dec 04 and Jan 05.

After being to Bohol /Alona beach I took the catamaran over to Cebu City.  Maybe the only place with some hassle with the taxi drivers is on the ferry terminal, according to xpats living in the city. Well back to the action scene.

By my option, the best place to stay and to meet whorists, xpats etc is at Kiwi Lodge (Tud-Tud Street). It has a very friendly staff and an easy going environment. This place has been a meeting place for xpats living in the Philippines, even if the lives in Cebu city. So when they are back to town from the province, they are coming to Kiwi lodge. There is no clubs around Kiwi, so you need to use taxi to get around. Normal fare to the scene is 30-40p.

First night we went to Sunflower disco. The cover change was 150p.It was big disco with a scene, where some locals were entertaining the audience. We found the place boring (early in night) so off to Viking bar.

Some old bad reports about the place, but the place has changed to the better. It was under my stay in town probably the most popular gogo place in town. It works around 30 girls in the bar + a friendly staff.  The bar fine is 700 pesos and for the girl it is 1000 pesos. You pay everything in the bar before you leave. The next day you gives maybe some tips and taxi money. 

We went to bar jumping to the other bars in the area (walking) and found them almost empty (some days in a row), so the best tips to find the party is to check all of them before you return to your favourite place. You find the name and location of the other places on this domain somewhere. A lot of info about Cebu, don't se the point of repeat info you find on other pages here on whorist.com. Heard about some places in Uptown Area; Love City and Thunder Dome, they are gogos but didn't check them out.

I met a girl on another place in the Philippines; she was working at Shangrila Hotel on Mactan Island. She was a dancer there. But the prices were quite high she told me. She told me she could live well with the money from the ladies drink.

Info about Moalboal / Pamagsama Beach If you are into diving this is a nice spot to visit, but the nightlife is also very good here. A lot of bars, in most if them it are girls who are waiting for you. Many of them are quite hardcore, so don't expect some innocent babes. Many of them work as waitress, but it's no problem to make a agreement to see them after they close the bar. Some bars close at midnight. I don't remember any names of places, but there is no problem to find them. I can recommend this place if you want out of Cebu town.

My Cebu Report

I had already made some contacts via www.filipinaheart.com over the preceding few weeks. There were two contacts I was very keen to meet, but I didn’t want to give them all my time and wanted to find some freelancers too.

Go-go/Bikini bars

The best bar now for the prettiest girls is at Vikings, some stunners there. Perhaps the girls enjoy working there since the bar fine is 1700P, the usual 700P bar fine, plus a built in tip of 1000P. I do not like that, but their quality *sometimes* makes it worthwhile. I have taken several girls out of there and one has to be careful some of the younger ones are definitely lookers and not performers, they have something to learn about service. Note that Vikings is two bars in one under one owner, Midnight Sun Bar on the top floor and BG Bikini Bar downstairs. The girls don't switch between bars but you can take girls from the top floor down to the bottom where they have some Karaoke rooms. The girls claim that there is no actual sex to be performed there but you can take it pretty far nonetheless (don't think they will screw).

Exotica used to have a better selection but many girls have left due to the fact that many do not like the policies of the owner. Customers too seem to be complaining about him as well. So this place may be going down for the count some time soon. But I hope not as I like the venue, it can be a relaxed place to hang out. Just hope that the owner can lighten up and also attract some better talent.

There is a new location for the Cobra Bar, across the street from the Midtown hotel. I have not visited so I cannot report just now, but it should be added to the list. The Cobra Bar used to be in Guadalupe near (or at?) the Metropolis hotel. I have no idea if it is the same owner or someone wanting to carry on the name.

Your website mentions that the St. Moritz has "died" I do not think it is the liveliest bar but it is a friendly comfortable place that I sometimes like to spend a few drinks in. I will concede that the girls are not top quality but average looking, though not dogs.

Let me say that my experience in Cebu was most likely
much different than the average "Joe" visiting the
islands for the first time. I have been married to a
Cebuana for over 20 years, when we visit we stay with
my inlaws. So lodging, at least long term, is not an
issue for me. In those 20 plus years I have managed to
aquire a fair bit of language skills, both Visayan and
Tagolog. It gives me an "unfair" advantage when
dealing with locals. I like to play dumb for a while,
and then surprise them.

About my guides, I have an advantage there also, as my
guides are actually my brothers-in-law, and nephews.
I've never gone out with less than three of them by my
side. Personal security was little concern, nothing
better than family.

Because of my unique situation I was able to visit
places that the average "Joe" simply could never
consider. Because of this and the fact that even on
vacation, I still had a budget to live in, we visited
many "local" joints. Pricing seemed to average 40 a
beer, 120 & up for ladies drinks and bar fines from
1500 & up.

One other side note, buy your own condoms, bring them
with you from home. I have never thought of myself as
"well endowed", average at best, I have always known
this. Yet over there I was never able to find condoms
of the proper size. We made due with what we had, but
proper equipment is best.

Our second day in Cebu, my brother-in-law said that he
and the others wanted to take me out that night. Based
on my experience there some three earlier, I knew just
what he was talking about. ;)

We went to Lapu-Lapu on Mactan. First stop of the
night was the "Happy Hour Bar, Grill and KTV". Located
right on the way to the airport, just where the road
turns right from the main drag. After a couple of
beers and a few karaokes, we went into the dance area,
seperated from the rest of the bar there were several
tables and chairs for guests to relax at as they
watched the "show". With only 5 dancers, things didn't
look so good there until Katherine got up to dance.
Without a doubt, she was one of the most beautiful
women I saw during my visit there. Excellent
proportion, beautiful smile, and eyes to die for. I
tabled her and we started to talk. She was 19 and a
student at UC (University of Cebu). I got the feeling
that she was uncomfortable, and that she could be a
runner. With my guide we made arraingments to meet
after bar time, and I would pay her the full 1500 that
would have gone to the bar fine. We went to eat and
returned at bar time to pick Katherine up, one hour
and a half later we left with out her. She never
showed.

I was then taken to the downtown area where we picked
up a couple of girls at a Casa P500. I spent the next
2 hours with Kay. She was 25, half Korean and half
Filipina, very cute and had a nice full body. Oh yeah,
It was her birthday tomorrow! Be prepaired for the
birthdays, real and fictional. I soon learned that she

comment, we rented a room at a place called the
Queensland Motel/?/Hotel <P300. Not a 4 star place,

Barfine P2000) on the main drag in Lapu-Lapu. North of
the new bridge, right next to the CalTex station. The

sagging, with a few sweeties in between. The girls
here did a complete strip, compared to Happy Hour
where they just danced. We moved on to the downtown
area, I'm not exactly sure of the location other than
it was near the JollyBee on Eschavez. It was called
something like "The Upstairs". Very Native place.
Small room, with even smaller stage all located
upstairs above the regular bar. Loud music and
flashing lights. Five girls in all. Six of us. We
ended up paying for the entire room and making it a

class place than we had visited in Cebu. Clean, lots
of windows, booths, decent bathrooms. The girls here
were different also. They would not approach you at
all. They only came over when you had selected one of
them to table. I chose Joy, she was 5'6" about 100
pounds. Joy was 21 years old and had some very nice
legs and a fantastic waist. She was as pretty any any
of the girls there that night. No boyfriends, no kids,
no experience. She made no attempts to get me into the
VIP room, yet I knew they had one. She didn't even ask

We left Cebu to return home the next day. I find my

Just returned from my first visit to the Philippines-one week.

Travelers checks: Citibank, PNB-Philippine National Bank(by airport Waterfront Hotel) and Banco de Oro (SM Mall) will cash your American Express travelers checks, in addition to American Express Office at Ayala Mall.

However, I went to the American Express on a Friday afternoon. But, it was closed for "Cebu Charter Day," a local bank holiday that is not observed in the rest of the Philippines. Of course, all the banks were closed. I went back to American Express the next morning (Saturday), only to be told that American Express had "no more money to cash travelers checks." Ha. It seems that there was a big rush early that morning by tourists to cash their checks after the holiday. So, they drained out all the cash in the office, and American Express could not get any more cash "because all the banks were closed." Seems like a funny way to run a travel office.

Fortunately, I had $200 in American dollars & $100 in Japanese yen stashed away in my emergency dirty sock in my laundry bag at the hotel. Went back to Ayala where the money changers inside were happy to give me honey money for the weekend.

Bad news: My cell phone (Japanese) was stolen from my bag while I was sightseeing near the old fort. I was using it to take pictures & I had some hot pics I was going to send back to you. But somebody got past the Velcro & picked it out of the special pocket while I was wandering around that park across the road. I never felt a thing. Sneaky little fuckers. However, I got a new phone with video when I got back to Japan. Promise I'll take better care of this one.

Stayed at The Kiwi Lodge, upon recommendation of one of your readers. Got a clean, simple room with king size bed for 960 pesos per day. Staff was very friendly, efficient and no problem with the ladies. Security guard at the gate 24 hours and will cheerfully get you & the lady drinks after hours if bar is closed(11pm!). Give the guy a decent tip.

Decent breakfast at 170 pesos.

I did 6 girls in 8 days. I did one twice on successive nights cause she was so damn good.

Black Hole was great-many fun ladies and at least half were attractive and no problem with short time. A few lookers wandering around on a weeknight with no real takers.But none seemed interested in long time. And they actually played good old rock & roll. I tipped the DJ for playing "You Really Got Me" at 2am. I like that place. I could relax with beer & booty with no pressure from anybody.

Exotica across the street seemed a little tired on a Wednesday & Thursday night. Some of the girls had a bit of a crappy attitude.

Monet Casa (pronounced) Mo-Net behind City Hall had only 4 girls available at 11pm on a Sunday night. Mama san explained that most of the girls like to spend Sunday night with their family. You will probably need a taxi to find it. He might not know where it is. But he can ask the locals for directions. Interesting that they put this place so close to City Hall where the politicians do their business. I'll bet those good ole' boys could find this place blindfolded.

Also, the mama-san made me pay the 3000 pesos for short time upfront. But I loved the girl I got. She was worth every bit of it. I gave her 1000 pesos tip because she was better than anything I ever had in Thailand or Japan. She gave me her number and I brought her back the next night for another ride. She also refused to do long time. (Granma is waiting up for me!)

I spent the last two nights at The Waterfront near the airport(It's nowhere near the fucking water!) They had some cute candy/cigarette girls in costume at the casino, who seemed interested in selling more than candy after hours.

I visited 3 casas in Lapu Lapu and decided and a girl at the Ivory. I paid 3000 for Christine for what was supposed to be a long time. She was great in the sack and did everything she was told. But after I came once & showered, she started howling that she had "a toothache." I didn't want to listen to that. So I kicked her out without a tip or taxi money. "Please give me at least taxi money!" she cried. I told her she & papa san promised long time & papa san had her tip & taxi money back at Ivory. I saw 3 or 4 other girls\one knockout at Ivory that I wish I had taken instead. I still will probably go back there next time. I'll avoid Christine, though.

After that, I went downstairs to the karaoke and had a great time with two wonderful girls. I know they wanted to go back with me to my room. But I already had shot my gun off for the night with Ivory Christine. So, I went back to my room for sleep. But I liked that Waterfront karaoke. Friendly staff & sweet, fun girls.

I toured the go-gos in Lapa Lapu. UK Bikini Bar was closed up & dark. Golden Bear is now something else called "ZZYXZ" or something like that. It was dead as a tomb on a weeknight. I think I only saw two girls in there on a weeknight. And one was onstage.

Best Lapu Lapu go go was The Mermaid. It was packed with rowdy, local boys on a weeknight. But the lady manager was very nice and I felt very comfortable. Some of the girls were very hot-even better than the Black Hole. 3000 for all night. But after I made up my mind and decided on which one I wanted, some Filapina business man snagged her & beat me to it. She was so cute, walking around in a short, short nightie carrying a teddy bear.

However, I think there really isn't much to do in Cebu or Lapu Lapu except drink San Miguel and chase cute, little brown bunnies. But the bunnies did a pretty good job of selling me on a return trip. I'll return in January.

I just got back from Cebu City.

Hotels: Kan-Irag = I hadn't it seen in years. Run down and overpriced at 800 pesos. Stayed just one night.
Shamrock = (Fuente Osmena area) Better hotel, just 650 pesos.
Cebu View = (Colon, Sanciangko St.) Best deal. 510 pesos. Even cheaper if you pay by the month.

First night there I went to the Silver Dollar. Girls there were OK. I got one slim one, Tricia, but she was flat chested. (Bar fine --from memory-- 650, lady's drink 150). I gave her 1,000 pesos the next morning, only tohave her counter, "I usually get 1500" My fault, I was out of practice (hadn't been in years.) Moral of the story. AGREE IN ADVANCE HOW MUCH YOU ARE PAYING HER AND WHAT YOU ARE BUYING WITH THAT MONEY. For me, I stipulate she stays all night and I get a blow job.

I found women hanging out on the streets north of the Fuente. Price 500-700 pesos, and most stayed all night. I feel I got my money's worth. One of them explained that she only works occasionally, and moves, because the police will pick her up and haul her before a judge. Maybe the story was crap, but it made sense, as the girls and their locations changed from night to night. On Maxilom by the National Bookstore there were some chicks and a pimp. Paid 500 for a girl who stayed all night.

There is one mamasan who hangs out across from Robinson's on F. Ramos St. with her girls. Mixed bag. One girl, Lovely, was a good deal. I think I paid 5-700. Be careful here, as everywhere else, because you'll be quoted (with a straight face) 1500 pesos short time, and told that you're getting a huge discount! The other chick was a young stunner, supposedly a student, and sure looked the part. She was such a gorgeous thing that agreed to 1,000 all night. At the hotel she started smoking, watching TV, texting, etc. I shut off the TV. She then took a shower, and afterwards said that she needed to leave. I pointed out that she had agreed to stay all night. We went back and forth (verbally, alas) until I figured there was no since belaboring things. I did her once (which was totally unsatisfying), then she asked for taxi fare! I gave her twelve pesos for the jeepney. Moral of the story --Give the pimp his money, then give the girl her money AFTER she's earned it.

The point here is that if you roam the Fuente area after 10 o'clock at night you're bound to find someone.

The Lone Star bar on Maxilom is located next to the Iglesia Ni Kristo, down a dark alley. If you're walking, if you approach by Eddie's Hotel there's an armed guard out. The bar itself was very rough, giving me the impression of a biker bar, with tattooed guys cussing and getting drunk. Not my scene.

The other clubs on Maxilom were unimpressive. Dimples, Exotica, not much there. The Firehouse on Osmena --What the hell? All the girls were on stage at once, and no one approached me --not to buy a lady's drink, nothing. The beer was overpriced as well.

Then I got to the Black Hole , next to Vikings Bar , Mango Ave/Gen Maxillom Ave. Now that was a bar. There were a bunch of fine looking chicks. I wound up with a tiny little gal from Bohol, Emily. I paid her 1500, and she was worth every peso. She was what I call the Wild Card. Very enthusiastic and skilled. Stayed all night and we screwed all night.

I went to the place across from St. Moritz called the Garage. There are a bunch of college kids there getting drunk on the Colt 45 and Red Horse beer specials. There are a couple of pimps there who set me up with a little number named Dana. The place is next to Ayala, and I could have scored a girl there (500-700 pesos) at ten in the morning!

Be careful of girls on the streets in Colon! I got one who was cute and looked underage, but once I got her in the room her body looked ten years older than her face. There are plenty of girls here available from the pimps. I feel these girls are more likely to perform, because they aren't the prima donna "models" dancing at the clubs. Don't pay more than 500 pesos. Bargain hard! If you go down Del Rosario and P. Cui, right around the corner from Junquera, there's a whole slew of girls for hire. You want to go early, though, because late at night pimps will swarm the taxi and practically tear the doors off.

Beware the Cobra Bar --total ripoff. They charged me 100 pesos for a Tanduay and coke! I didn't stay long.

Well, it was a great trip, and overall I got my money's worth. I was just reading on this site where a guy paid 3000 pesos for a girl. That's crazy! The PI is really a buyer's market, and there are more girls than customers, so bargain hard.

I'm twice-a-year in Cebu and enjoy the excellent facilities. For my fellow mongers a comment on the experience of an earlier poster with FL's hired out from his cab, most lilely in the Jakosalem-area. I frequent that area and may give some hints:

Have small change of a couple of 100-notes ready. Fix a rate with the cab back to your hotel first, say 100Ps without meter and offer him another tip of 100 Ps if he can negotiate the price down to 500Ps = your limit. Once there, just lock all the doors and look around. Don't hurry. If you don't like the selection, ask him to move on. Look for a real smile in the face of the gal. Avoid bitter looking or loud girls. Once you found one, tell the driver to negotiate for you. Immediately one or two pimps will spring up. Just let them fight. Remain tough, don't let your dick rule! ...and never pay all the money upfront.
The pimps will not let the gal go without their cut. Pay max 200 to the pimps upfront and promise the girl to pay the balance of 300 to max 500 after the deed at your hotel. So, the maximum including your cab will not run above 1000 Ps.
Make clear if you want LT or ST. If she's a runner - you have the power of money. In some cases it's better to let her go but for a little fee of 100 or 200 Ps only and not for the full amount.
I experience a failure rate of 20% with the gals from there. But then I got some real cute sweathearts as well, fresh from the farm. For this good performers I don't give them a big tip, as they may have to hand over the money to mamasan. But I always bring along some foreign-branded lingerie (...get them cheap at Marks&Spencer, but value there more than 1000Ps) size 75 A or B fits most of them...and they simply love it. They can keep it as neither the pimp nor mamasan can wear that - you bet!

As of May 2004 the "Lone Star Bar" was still running strong. It is right around the corner from Eddies Hotel. It is owned by an Australian man who bought it from an American if I remember right. It has a stage for the girls to shuffle around on. It has a decent bar, and a pool table or two. The girls are not so aggressive that you can't sit down and have a drink and check the place out by yourself before you let the lady of you're choosing sit down with you. I have not seen the ladies slamming down the drinks to get more out of you either. I have had good experiences with the "Lone Star Bar", and I would recommend it to any whorist looking to score a good bitch for the night to suck his cock. Though I don't think I will be going back to the Philippines ever again, and I said that to myself in 2002 when I flew out after a six month stay. I'm going to go back to Thailand next time. Classier society, more beautiful women, more fun and things worth seeing in Thailand. It is not as filthy as the Philippines. I don't think the Philippino's know what clean is for the most part. When you find a nice clean place to shower, and lay down to sleep or what ever, it is like a treat in the Philippines. I also like a seat on the toilet when I take a squat. Yes the "Lone Star Bar" is still going on. A decent place to pick up a lay no doubt.
